APPLICATION, ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS APPLYING TO DEPARTMENTS/PROGRAMMES


APPLICATION PROCESS

 

  1. To view announcements regarding international student admissions to our university, please follow the link: https://iso.gop.edu.tr/TumDuyurular.aspx?d=tr-TR&mk=36065&m=duyuru_tum_idari 
  2. Find a suitable announcement and review the application criteria and quota information.
  3. Each announcement includes a calendar related to the application process. Using this calendar, you can see the application deadlines, result announcement dates, and other important dates.
  4. To apply, click on the “Click to Apply” section in the announcement and create your personal account by selecting “Create a New Account” on the page that appears.
  5. Please ensure all your information is entered accurately. Applicants are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents uploaded to the application system. After the application deadline, applicants will not be allowed to correct these documents.
  6. Applicants can make up to 5 choices for associate and undergraduate programs, while the limit is 3 choices for graduate programs. Please take this into consideration during the preference process.
  7. You can check your application result on the announcement date at iso.gop.edu.tr. Your results will also be sent automatically to the email address you provided during the application.

 

 

ADMISSION PROCESS

  1. Acceptance letters for applicants who are granted admission to our university will be available through the application system. These letters are valid for 2 years for associate and undergraduate programs. For graduate programs, they are valid for the next two registration periods.
  2. The acceptance letters will include the YÖK ID numbers. It is prohibited to add stamps, seals, signatures, or similar elements to these documents.
  3. Applicants who hold a Turkish ID Card, Turkish Foreign ID Card, or Blue Card and have been admitted to a program at our university may visit the International Student Office with the required registration documents without needing an acceptance letter.
  4. With the acceptance letter issued by our university, apply to the consulate for a student visa.




REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

  1. Please pay attention to the registration dates stated on the acceptance letter. Registration dates for associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs at our university are from July 1 to November 30. For graduate programs, registrations can also be made between January 15 and March 31.
  2. Registration dates are final and can not be changed. Registrations are made face-to-face only on the specified dates.
  3. Online registration or registration through a notary power of attorney is not allowed.
  4. Original copies of diplomas, transcripts and exam result certificates as well as Turkish or English copies will be requested during registration.
  5. During registration, applicants must present the information and documents they declared during the application process accurately. If any document or information is found to be false, incomplete, or forged, the registration will be canceled even if it was previously completed.
